Loan vs. Upside calculator

Pick one of 100 majors and a loan amount. It shows illustrative total repayment next to lifetime earnings upside vs a high-school-only path, so families can ask "will this major carry the debt?" before borrowing. Illustrative, not a loan quote.

Good to know

Is it really free?

Yes. No fee, no sign-up, no ads inside the embed.

Do I have to keep the credit line?

No. The "Powered by MajorMatch.us" line under the frame is optional, and you can add rel="nofollow" if your site's policy calls for it. Inside the tool there's a small "Powered by MajorMatch.us" note and links to the full tools.

Does it set cookies or track my readers?

The embeds set no cookies, store nothing on the reader's device, and load no ad or third-party tracking tags. Like the rest of our site, we may count anonymous page views with cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics. Numbers are calculated in the reader's browser.

Where do the numbers come from?

Major pay figures come from the MajorMatch Major Earnings Continuum (early and mid-career). Career pay uses published federal (BLS OEWS) averages. Loan figures are a standard amortizing loan with labeled defaults ($50,000, 6.5% APR, 10 years) that readers can change. Everything is illustrative, not a personal quote or advice. Full method: Loan vs. Upside calculator and Major Earnings Continuum.

Will it slow down my page?

The frames load lazily, use system fonts, and pull one small data file each. The optional one-line script only adjusts the frame height.
