By accessing or using the MajorMatch website at majormatch.us and our college major assessment service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
MajorMatch provides a data-driven college major assessment service that evaluates students across eight distinct dimensions to recommend college majors, career paths, and matched colleges. Our service includes three assessment tiers: Explorer (30 questions), Pathfinder (40 questions), and Compass Pro (60 questions), each delivered as a one-time purchase.

Because our assessment delivers personalized results immediately upon completion, we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from completing or accessing your assessment, please contact us and we will resolve the issue or provide a full refund.
If you purchased an assessment but have not yet started it, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

MajorMatch assessment results are based on validated psychometric frameworks, real labor market data, AI career trajectory modeling, and lifestyle compatibility scoring. However, our recommendations are informational guidance only and should not be considered professional academic advising, career counseling, or financial advice.
We encourage students to use their MajorMatch results alongside conversations with school counselors, parents, and academic advisors when making college and career decisions. No assessment tool can guarantee career outcomes, job placement, or academic success.
All content on majormatch.us, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, assessment questions, methodology, scoring algorithms, and website design, is the property of MajorMatch and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Your use of MajorMatch is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MajorMatch and its founder, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for your assessment.
We strive to keep MajorMatch available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
